WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF COFFEE:
Magnolia is my love letter to coffee. It delights in those surprisingly fruity cups with bright and sparkling acidity. It always seeks out sweetness paired with stunning clarity and vibrancy. It is all the best aspects of modern coffee and works to remind me that the possibilities for a good cup are endless when forever seek coffees that are in bloom.

ORIGIN:
Started in 1977, the Yurko cooperative produced excellent honey and, as Aleco from Red Fox bemoans, "naturally processed junk" for coffee. Working with Technoserve, the co-op reworked its approach. It upgraded to Penago mechanical de-pulpers, fiberglass tanks for fermentation, and shaded beds for the early stages of drying. Today, it is one of the best stations in the Kate Muduga network.

FLAVOUR:
I first roasted Yukro in 2017 and fell in love. Given magnolia's aim is always sugary fruit, lively floral notes, and bright acidity, Yukro is perfect. There is a delicious and juicy lime acidity that dovetails with the jasmine and apple blossom florals. The finish brings delightful blackberry and vanilla notes, like a berry custard tart.
